Preview: With Ensenso B, we are adding a new 3D camera to our range
Stereo vision camera provides 3D information from a distance of approx. 20 centimetres
Until now, we have initially emphasised the maximum possible working distance with our Ensenso 3D cameras - after all, they can reliably depict even large scenes. With Ensenso B, we will soon be adding a model that turns the tables: its great strength lies in the very precise capture of objects at close range, with an impressively high depth of field. At the same time, it enables operation with a working distance of up to 2 metres.
With dimensions of just 120 x 56 x 104 mm, the new 3D camera is designed to be particularly space-saving. These features make it ideal for use on a robot arm. And there are other benefits: the housing, which accommodates two 5 MP colour cameras, a pattern projector and the entire electronics, is completely enclosed. This simplifies cabling.
